Lovely hotel in a fantastic location, rooms are spacious with extremely comfortable beds. Right next to train station, shopping centre, Cinema, Gravity, bowling, Amusement arcade and many amazing restaurants. Everything you need to enjoy a night or 2 away.
Me and the family always tend to spend a few nights here after Christmas.The staff are very accommodating as we are a very large family.It's great to relax. Right next to the restaurants and shopping malls so provides exactly what we are looking for.If you are after a good night's sleep with easy access to shops and restaurants I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
Staff okay. Wondered about talking to each other most of the time. Breakfast pretty poor. Cheap products and lukewarm at best. Location is the best about the place. Next to the river is lovely.
Disappointed. Tired furniture falling apart despite starting in one of their best rooms. Poorly trained staff in restaurant. Not sure I've ever felt more ripped off and unhappy from a restaurant. Ate in the hotel because I was very tired from a long day and an experience that bad, I would usually ask for my money back, but was so tired from what felt like battling with the waiting staff, I just took my dessert to bed. Empty minibar. Half size bath. Not very atmospheric. Free chocolate with room was just one KitKat. Will avoid this hotel in future and tell my colleagues to do the same. I usually stay in holiday inns for the convenience and points and places like this really take the piss.
Lovely place to stay in the city by the river. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The heart of the city is in walking distance all be it up a hill but plenty of buses and taxis available for a very short journey. The Nelson pub on site served excellent food at a reasonable price but if your taste is Mexican, Chinese, Pizza etc a short walk across the bridge to the Riverfront gives you these restaurants too. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
