The staff are very helpful 5 stars for the staff. However the hotel it's self is in need of a refresh. It's looking a bit dated. Windows are only single glazed so you do have a lot of road noise in the room.
Myself and my wife stayed here for a date night unfortunately my wife was taken poorly, I have to praise all of the staff for there help and support thank you to Helen and her colleagues. We will book again and recommend to family and friends Thank you again
Went for a Christmas party. The party was good! Band was fun! The food portion were slightly on the smaller side and the Christmas roast was definitely a bit sad looking! Brought me back to school dinners The rooms were basic with black mould and damp on the windows, stains all the over the carpet and stains all up the curtains! The bathroom was lovely though such a shame just needs a bit of revamping and a good clean!!!
Just arrived home,had a three nights stay at Mercure Norwich hotel our room was clean and had plenty of room, we did upgrade to a privilege room. The staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Great time.
Went for Afternoon tea but no atmosphere there. Friendly helpful staff but food had been prepared too long before we arrived so bread was stale round the edges even though we were booked in at 2pm & arrived on time. This was a virgin experience day afternoon tea & the least liked one we have had to date. Small but tasty & tables clean but decor dated & walls bubbling & too many plants growing so windows not cleaned outside. Also dead insects & cobwebs in bar area & ladies toilet.
