Room was recently decorated so looked good and was clean. Nice big tv, plenty of tea and coffee facilities and a warm room.
Booked a Christmas works meal for 26 people on the last Friday before Xmas and we had a great experience all round. Fran and all the other waiting staff were very helpful and food was hot, tasty and served on time. The whole evening went smoothly and was very enjoyable. 5*****
Awful! Went for a meal from work two Christmasses ago. Place was crowded as they seriously overbooked. The food was either burnt, cold or looked like left overs, the brownies and whatever-the-other-things-were, were served rock hard, burnt and inedible. I dont like turkey so had to have risotto as nothing else was on offer. The mushroom risotto had no mushrooms but did have raisins in it looking more like rice pudding that someone had left. Thinking of that place and the food makes me feel sick. Been once before for a colleagues birthday and it was lovely but this experience has put me off of ever going back. The staff didnt even seem bothered with the amount of complaints they were getting from everyone in the room. Yes we got our money back but thats not the point. Disgusting!
Lovely terrace for drinks in the summer.Booked a room last minute and we were very pleasantly surprised. Room was reasonably priced and large. Near to the river and close to the city.
I've had really good experiences here but it's lost two stars on my most recent visit... The water pressure must've been really low, so they've installed electric pumps on all the showers, trouble is they are SO LOUD!!!! I was looking forward to sleeping in but the person in the neighbouring room had a shower at 6am, the whole room was vibrating, like it was being drilled into! They need to solve this!!! Otherwise great, but this will stop me returning for now!
