Went and celebrates new year there it was amazing
We enjoyed a Christmas night out here which was absolutely superb. Band were great, food was piping hot and very very nice. Service is always good, it is a great venue to enjoy a dinner/dance.
Due to cutbacks restaurant portions are meaner. Due to cutbacks curry not served with naan bread. Due to cutbacks my rating has beenRooms are dated. Staff are quite friendly though.
Attended for a function, room was good size and warm. Food was average and could have been hotter. Served on cold plates which didn't help. Accommodated dietary needs and served with smiles. Staff polite and efficient
Very good reception with efficient and friendly service. Had a meeting in the cafe and was surprised no-one came to the table to take an order. After an hour I went to the bar and asked for green tea. The staff member told he'd bring it to me when he'd finished cashing up. Bit surprised at his priorities. Five minutes later my tea arrived at a reasonable price. No cakes available - would be nice to have something other than biscuits.
