I was here for breakfast with a group of men. As expected they served a full English breakfast. The bacon was a bit pink but I recognize some people like it that way. The sausage was browned. Overall breakfast was very good.
Rooms are good size. Found it a bit strange to have your hot drink making stuff in drawer! Not enough milk or sweetener. Breakfast was OK apart from tea and coffee that was stone cold a few minutes after getting it and I had to ask for sweetener as only sugar in the bowls and butter was rick hard so you couldn't have say a Bacon sandwich as the butter ripped the bread.
Went there for a Christmas Party. Food was disappointing considering it was chosen in advance and the only choice was between Turkey or Nut Roast. But it was a great atmosphere and had a good time.
Turned out to be quite a nice place, lovely breakfast, good location for us, spacious car park. I was apprehensive because of some of the reviews, but we were quite comfortable. The bathroom could use an update, true, but it's perfectly serviceable. We're very likely to stay there again as it's a in good proximity to the University.
Lovely clean room and very comfortable bed. Staff polite and helpful. Two coach trips in whilst I was there making booking a table for dinner difficult to book. Would use this hotel again.
