I called in need of a puncture repair two minutes before they were due to close. They very kindly agreed to help and I was on my way again with a new tyre and inner within half an hour. Fantastic service, I'll be back!
I mostly fix my bikes myself, but occasionally need a spare part, such as some cable, or a bolt. Dr Bike are unique in Norwich in the sense that if you need one of these parts, rather than spending 10 to 20 on a big pack, you only need to buy a very small amount of that material.This makes Dr Bike not only cheap, but also very environmentally friendly, because you don't use more than you need. Combine that with the fact that the staff members are very helpful and knowledgeable, and you have a bike shop that is well worth visiting.It is worth mentioning that if you want your bicycle fixed by Dr Bike, it is worth getting there very early because the spaces in the workshop sell out very quickly.
A few years ago I gave Dr Bike a try, because of their convenient location. I have been getting my bike serviced by Dr Bike exclusively ever since. They definitely provide services at a fair price. They don't sell you the things you don't need. Another bike shop at one point kept trying to sell me a new front chain ring, but Mark told me to keep my old one. They are also very fast at fixing minor problems. At one point my bike kept having loose bottom bracket, I remember keep having to make appointment with another bike shop. With Dr Bike, they fix your that problem on the spot, and it never happened again. Everyone in the shop is friendly. Mark is definitely a greater than life person with lots of interesting stories. Sue is really good at truing wheel and building new wheels.
The employees and the service have always been excellent. I have been a customer for over three years whilst a student at UEA and I have bought several bikes, which have all been wonderful. The services were always fairly priced and I have been treated with respect and kindness. Many thanks!
The staff here are highly knowledgeable and helpful! My bike has gone through various upgrades and repairs and they have always been quick in getting it going again. Lots of advice and information gained from the staff here, and the prices here are good given how fast I have been able to receive my bike (often on the same day if dropped off early in the morning). Very helpful, skilled staff - would certainly recommend!
