absolutely appalling attitude towards toddlers from the old woman in this store, walked over to our friends 2 year old son and sternly told him to calm down, he hadnt even touched anything. Two mins later and he sat on a chair so she walked over and told him to get off. She then walked over to our 8 and 10 year old children and said at least youre behaving they were just as shocked and possibly disgusted as we were. We left at this point as we were obviously not welcome with a toddler in this store. Walking outside we noticed some chairs for sale with a card attached that read adult chairs not for children which alluded us to the fact that this batty old woman can only be likened to the Grand High Witch from The Witches !! If he had of actually been running riot around the shop then I can understand her fear of possible damage to the furniture (not that there is anything breakable in here ? Didnt have time to look) but he is a normal playful giggling 2 year old. Its a shame as there is some nice furniture and we were prepared to spend our money here but after this experience well spend it elsewhere. So if you are planning on visiting the Futon Company in Norwich do not take your children. . . you have been warned !!
