Demand for this quality city eatery is high but for fish & chip fans it is well worth a visit if you are in Norwich. Basement seating is quirky and limited but the quality of food is never disappointing. An Iconic Norfolk eatery I cannot recommend highly enough.
Great fish and chips. Lovely that you can eat the food next door at the pub if wanted. If not the underground crypt is equally cool and the music is great
I've been going here for a few years now. I love it. The workers are very polite and charming, food is delicious and filling (there's a lot to choose from). Not to mention the price for what you get. What i tend to order is cheaper than Mcdonalds and i feel full. You also get a lovely atmosphere with classic tunes.
This little place is always super busy but service is quick and efficient. Fresh foods not greasy. Freshest fish anywhere apart from coast. Smiley helpful staff good value for money. Now put regular chippy 5*
Well deserved accolades as one of the best places to eat in Norwich. The chips, cooked in dripping, are 5-star perfect. Please never change your methods of cooking. I always go for a sumptuous piece of code which is so good I have never ventured to try other exciting looking items on the menu. Perhaps I should go more often.
