Not enough staff. Called in as a treat for the wife who had been ill. Seated in 10 minutes. The waiter was not sure which drinks were non sugar but I spotted diet coke so had that. Starters were ordered, the dim sum platter was very good. We ordered 2 main dishes and special rice. The waiter clearly forgot to order my S&S Chicken as it still had not turned up after my wife had finished hers and I had eaten as much special rice as I could manage. We asked for the sweet and sour as a takeout but they still charged for it. This ruined our experience and in the end we threw it away as it was cold when we got home. We have used this place before but the service has gone downhill. The waiters seemed to be rushing about which probably led to our error. Good food ruined by poor service. We will not go back as we paid over 50 for a ruined meal.
Well I dont know how to say with ease . First time here and surely my last .It was one of the most uncomfortable Outings I have ever had . Firstly upon arrival we had a very called waitress who didnt even say hi and just pointed at a table . After 10 mins of waiting even though the restaurant had only one table been used with , nothing was explained we were just thrown a menu. The drink selection was very weak consisted of four soft drinks. Although the food menu looked impressive it somewhat lacked vegetarian and sure no vegan options.our orders where wrong the service was very cold . Most of the staff where unconcerned with our table it was like we didnt exist . It was so embarrassing for me been there with my girlfriend and a friend of ours who is a writer and a critic. Its a shame because We really where looking forward to the whole experience. The sweet chilli beef was enjoyable according to my girlfriend,my food was just bland I had the stirfried vegetarian and ordered a second dish which was the Singapore fried rice to see if it would be better but I feel so unsatisfied like I paid to be disrespected and force myself to eat in the cold I hope anybody has a better experience than you we did , its a shame but that was the last time for us I would have had a better experience if I had gone to a buffet sad really .
Conning people with extra charges on bill. Be careful because then they ask you for a gratuity on top of a service charge. The bill is illegally written up too. Deceitful. But nice food. The offal is too expensive and hideous don't bother with it, soups are poorly seasoned. Used to be a great place to visit but put off. The dimsum dishes are okay had far better in London.
Pretty tasty take away, not a lot of sauce with the food which would have been nice. Bit on the steep side for what it was but they were open on NYE so can't complain. Will stick with Cantonese Kitchen for now though.
We went with a voucher from car insurance! The restaurant felt very authentic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, best ever had in Norwich. Fresh and good quality ingredients. Yum!
