I have copied and pasted my email feedback to Lambert Pugh - would I use them again? Yes, but I'd also know what to expect. Email below:"Just a note to say thanks for the work you did for us on our sale and purchase - there was a period of time prior to Christmas where contacting you was difficult to say the least (I'm really not sure that the team structure recently introduced is beneficial for your clients, as I also used your services before the restructure), however, we're happy with how everything went. Contacting you after Christmas was fine and communications (when possible) have always been professional and courteous. Perhaps the workload over Christmas was just too much for the size of your team? So, thank you to Team 5 but some food for thought for your management team."
Rude, incompetent, unbelievably slow and dishonestTThere was a catalogue of negligence, major delays, errors and poor service:1. Rude, abusive and uncooperative;2. Held out two members of staff as qualified legal executives when they were not;3. Failed to chase up the other side;4. Asked for information they already had in their possession;5. Were slow and lacked any initiative;6. Staff are mostly unqualified and incompetent;7. Caused major delays to the conveyance;8. Failed to register documents even after we had complained;9. Accused us of blackmail and coercion and threatened us with the police on three separate occasions when we merely asked for compensation for poor serviceI would advise all dissatisfied clients to make a formal complaint to the Legal Ombudsman or sue them. The Ombudsman is a free service and is impartial. Our complaints were upheld by the Ombudsman and the firm ordered to pay 500 compensation. They made two other errors for which they voluntarily paid us 500 compensation and gave apologies. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. My partners father agrees with this having seen the evidence and had some involvement and he has line managed six large legal departments in councils. They have almost the highest number of complaints upheld against them by the Ombudsman for the size of company. They are not fit for purpose and their senior managers are arrogant, abusive and threatening. They are unprofessional beyond belief..
Now the fourth time we used them for our conveyancing services and found them to be very good! Quick response via email or phone, not had to visit the office at all everything thing dealt with via email, phone or post.Have had contact from them over weekends, even on one of our problematic purchases, even had calls over the Easter bank holiday weekend!Would highly recommend the company.
First of all I want to thank Jake and team three for their absolute flawless service provided in helping me with my first time buy. From day one I was constantly updated on what was happening, everything explained simply yet very thorough. Being my first time buy I needed things explaining a few times over now and again, It was never an issue to take the time to explain anything I needed with pin point detail. Service with such speed also, Even the estate agent commented on how they've never had a Solicitors be ready before they were. Jake would often stay late for me to drop off my signed documents as there was a deadline to exchange contracts. Thanks again Perfect service from jake and Team three.
We used Team 4 at Lambert Pugh for our sale and new Build purchase, they responded to emails within the agreed timescales and returned calls promptly. Even when we made a lot of calls towards the final stages and I'm sure they were fed up of hearing from us at no time did I feel undervalued and every daft question was answered to our satisfaction. I noted the negative reviews but genuinely did not experience any poor service.
