Young assistant was very helpful, manager was ignorant and rude.We entered the store midweek, there were no other customers other than ascociates of the manager.We were still in the decision process so had a number of questions about various stock, which the assistant was more than helpful and happy to provide his time. Only for the manager to intervene and dismiss us just as we were about to organise an listening session and spend around 8k with them.Left the store increasingly building disappointment and anger. This stores manager needs to have a good review of his conduct towards customers, we took our custom to Martins.
I needed a new cartridge for my turntable and the advice given and patience of the staff there were very good. I mentioned how muffled the sound had been, they looked into it and found a flaw in the wiring, ordered a tiny missing part and fixed it at no extra charge. My records have never sounded better! You might pay more than other shops in the high street but the staff here seem to know what theyre talking about.
