Today, I witnessed something that restored my faith in humanity. At around 11:45 24/12/2018 An elderly gentleman had taken a tumble over the curb someway up of Upper Goats Lane smashing his shipping and having a few cuts and bruises for his trouble (cuts sustained from the class bottles that he was carrying at the time). A nurse from the practice grabbed a first aid box and came to assist, Not knowing what injuries the male had sustained they sourced a cyclist paramedic who attended to check the man over inside the practice (he just so happened to be an existing patient of theirs). There are some that wouldve said, thats not within my remit. But that certainly wasnt the case here. I was touched by the compassion and heartfelt care that took place today.I think that it was care that went beyond the remit of the individuals and they should be praised about what they did. Not only did they assist with the man but kept the practice running whilst being understaffed and taking on patients from their sister branches. Well done!
The receptionist was rude and pleasant when I called. I called due to problems I was having booking an appointment online. While I was speaking I was continually interrupted by the receptionist. Her tone and manner were patronising. As I'm not in good health I found this upsetting. She finished the call by telling me that it was difficult to make appointments due to Brexit causing a national shortage of dentists. Although I am personally opposed to Brexit, I felt this comment was irrelevant to our conversation, unnecessary and slightly unprofessional.
I have always been very well looked after here, the service they provide is fantastic, the receptionists and lovely and kind, I myself am so thankful for the work they have done for me and my aching teeth! Thank you all. X
Turned up for my appointment today and the place is closed with the shutters down. No phone call or message to let me know, very unprofessional. It's cost me time and money. Avoid thus place if you can.
