I've visited Norwich Cathedral many times over the past 49 years and the size and scale of this magnificent building never fails to amaze me. How did they build it with the tools and technology available all those years ago? It would surely represent a challenge to re-create now. Marvel at the scale and craftsmanship, spend time to look at the details and wander around the cloisters - it cannot be rushed. No trip to the fine City of Norwich would be complete without a visit to the Cathedral. Fantastic!

Nice peaceful , excellent place to reflect. Make the most of the winter sun inside a cathedral it looks completely different. Plus on the winter time it's quieter p.s. can you spot the cat

Unfortunately the cathedral is designed to be threatening as you have to run the gauntlet of people demanding money before you can get in to pray contemplate and worship in this beautiful and inspiring place. Cafe doesn't open until 10 which is a pain if you have travelled a long distance to attend one of the many delightful NCCL sessions which start at 10 on Saturday mornings. Hospitality does not extend to letting anyone use the loo - you have to know a code.

Love it. Amazing architecture. Love the old graffiti inside. They hosts some great events as well. A treat for any photographer Recommend

The Cathedral is one of the largest jewels in Norwich's crown. It's quite simply stunning to look at, and a wonder to take a walk around, inside or out. You can easily spend half a day just ambling around admiring the gorgeous architecture, and the grounds offer a nice little spot to just sit and chill with a book and bite to eat.The refectory sells sandwiches, paninis, cakes etc, all the usual cafe fare. It's pretty unremarkable, but of course has a good cause at its heart.Entry is free, but as you'd expect, donations for its maintenance and upkeep are encouraged. Definitely worth making time for.
