I used to and still do occasionally go to their King's Care scheme on Sundays. This consists of a ticket based entrance where you are called in according to your number you are given. You are given a two course lunch, hot and cold drink and you can do your washing and have a shower if you like. There is also God story, a 30 minute talk on a portion of the Bible. This has seen several conversions to Christianity by people you would have least expected.I am most often here on Thursday afternoon from 2-4.30pm. This is a group that started after an Alpha course that I and various members of the group attended. It begins with a Psalm reading, ice breakers which gets us to know people, there's games that includes scrabble, short mat bowling and if you like a Bible study. Then the afternoon usually finishes with a testimony, sometimes from a member of the group, sometimes from an outsider, and it finishes with group prayer and the opportunity for individual prayer. The style of worship here is unfortunately not to my style, but I am sure they mean well and their worship of God is to their credit.
