Very helpful and friendly staff and the vet has a great bedside manner as we as genuine car and interest.
I now only buy cat litter from here as the majority of their stock is overpriced and I cannot justify paying more for the same items I can get from Asda. The own brand ultra performance cat litter is the best Ive tried in my cats 10 years as its super absorbent, dust free and clumps really well. Odour control is minimal but I get a litter spray from Asda which is better than bob martins granules with a much more subtle scent (Bob Martin is quite strong smelling and makes my cat sneeze to the point of boycotting her litter box).
Staff friendly but are too quick to find out what you want. Bosses need to realise customers like browsing and not be pressured! It works in America not Britain.
We have been using Pets at Home nr their in house vets for years now. We always find what we need in the shop, which we don't find that expensive.All the vets and nurses are brilliant. We now have the Pet Care plan with the vets which for our cat costs us 10 a month. This covers all her flea and worming treatment, her yearly booster injection, 1 free appointment with the nurse along with nail clipping (if needed) plus lots of other benefits which would cost a lot more than the 120 the policy costs.
Great place for anything animal related. Staff are always very helpful, polite and welcoming. I've given 4 stars because it can be expensive for some products, and they've not always got what I want which is guttering when you've travelled out of yr way to visit a bigger animal related shop. Because smaller shops and supermarkets don't sell certain items.......
