The UEA LCR, once the crowning jewel of Norwich for live events, now the worst possible experience. Bought tickets for a comedy gig, limited seating so three quarters of the audience are sitting on the floor... Abismal, and the staff are a bunch of dour cretins too... Stay away and catch the act you want to see in Ipswich... After all, Ipswich can't be worse than the UEA, can it?

Great venue and relatively good prices for a gig venue
The venue security guard with the pony tail came across as a bit of a 'power freak'. Despite being told I could access the Tuesday event as a guest by the other security guards on duty, the pony tail man denied me and a friend entry and became very abusive. Wouldn't recommend due to the way the matter was dealt with and the way I was spoken to.
