Usually have a fairly good time in loft, last Friday night me and my friend queue for about 10 minutes, then get let in and right after I pay to get in a doorman decides to breathalyse me and what a surprise at 2am that I am in fact drunk! I clearly remember the situation I was not being loud or stumbling, and I was civil with the doorman when asked to be breathalysed, I could understand if I was causing trouble but I had only just been let in! What an absolute con, I was told I had to leave and of course my mate did aswell so not to leave me behind.
2nd time around asking for ID . 37 &46 yrs old. Security staff are a joke. Couldnt go in. Who carry ID over 30 anyway. No wonder they do not get support by the gay community.Would not try again .
I asked if it was okay to go and take a puff of my ecig was told yeah thats fine, had 2 puffs turned around and was not let back in. Abysmal door staff, lied to me after paying 5 entry.
When it's good it's good when it's dead it's dead. Been charged different prices for same drinks by different staff members. Can be a wait getting in. Is small so is usually full or empty.
Great prices, awesome atmosphere and music, personally my fave night out in Norwich
