Absolutely love this place. Food consistently fabulous. Amazing flavours. I'm not vegetarian but this is still one of my favourite restaurants

1st experience of the river cafe for a late impromptu Sunday lunch. Really pleased with the last minute decision, from the moment we walked in. Atmosphere was relaxed, staff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed 3 courses and all were as delicious as described in the menu. I don't think it will be long before we revisit

A friend and I ate at the River Green Cafe for the first time on Thursday 15.11.18 and both chose the Chestnut, Leek and Sage stuffed Mushroom Wellingtom. I chose the meal with potato gratin which was excellent, my friend chose the same meal but with salad. Her comment was that salad with gravy was a strange combination. However the food was superb and the service excellent. Certainly a place to return to.
