Really interesting.local volunteers very knowledgeable and helpful..replicas of old linens and artefacts very well done.
Went for Santa and to look at the hall in christmas guise. Fr. Christmas was tremendous and spent lots of time and interest on my boy and the hall was quirky, labyrinthine and yule-tastic.
A wonderful place. Will definitely be back. Beautifully presented series of rooms. A medieval must-see.
What an amazingly interesting and interactive place and the very friendly staff were a bonus. Highly recommend a visit.
Nice to look around. The children enjoyed the making a bed activity. However, I didn't appreciate the lecture the children got about not touching things on the way in, it would have been nice if she gave them a chance to see if they behaved well or not. 2 childminders attended together with several children, the lady looked instantly panicked at the number of children. We weren't allowed to take buggies which with the number of stairs is understandable however it took them 10 minutes to get a key to unlock a room that was to be used as storage.
