Really interesting and atmospheric. Went there as part of a photographic group. Some really good shots taken. Good place to visit for all the family
Great place to take the family. Packed with wonderful exhibitions and history. Well worth a visit!
The museum and library are, together, fantastic. Lots of animals, history, and art, plus the keep is in good condition and a joy to walk around. However, the price is steep for visiting regularly. I'd wait until there is an event that lowers the entrance fee.
Dungeon could've been a lot better. Not a lot to see. Tour guide did her best. A lot of bits are no longer there.Not a very interesting museum
Excellent museum full of a wide range of very interesting exhibits. There are always temporary exhibitions and daily guided tours of the dungeons and battlements. Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable.
