I visit Jurnets bar regularly to watch Dogface Improv shows which are fantastic, but Jurnets bar is a lovely interesting place to pop into at anytime for a drink or coffee.
Fantastic bar - amazing atmosphere, good prices, and fantastic history. Lovely place to spend an evening, drinking or otherwise.
This is a gem of Norwich.. very well priced, beautiful medieval feel dating back 100's of years. Hidden under Norwich, lacking windows but delicious x
The weirdest, most surreal, and trippiest place I've ever been. The venue is part Hogwarts, part Camelot and part 80's village hall. People queue, single file, to the bar for a drink, which is served by a lovely couple that look like they're working a village fete. Once you've ordered the drink you ponder whether to rejoin the queue for another 45mins or just be sober for the night. On the night that I went there was a psychedelic disco. The place was filled with millenials in 70's clothing, dancing to 60's tunes and people from the 60's in 90's clothes drinking warm ales. I was sober (see above) but feel like I was on acid.I'm sure it has a nice community feel if you're part of the group but it wasn't for me.
A very relaxing space, I have been here before for a music event regarding David Bowie trubite. A popular place to unwind within an educational facility here in a historic area of the city by the river.
