Really unique little place in Norwich with a fantastic beer selection and great food.Service is quick, friendly and knowledgeable about the many, many beers available.Given the unique (sometimes exclusive) beers, the prices are really reasonable.
Amazing food, friendly staff. Love coming here, there's so much choice with the food and the drink! If you haven't been here then you're missing out!
Wonderful food but very poor customer service from the management. My friend booked a birthday party for his girlfriend and a whole host of our friends came along. Some of whom we're not allowed to sit upstairs with us despite the fact the restaurant was basically empty other than another small party of 3 in the seating area, because they had eaten already. They were made to wait downstairs. They took our names for our food orders and still managed to give the steaks to the wrong people. They made the guy who booked pay over 50 pounds alone so that he could get his deposit back, despite the fact that about 15 of us had starters and mains amongst ourselves. He had to buy drinks for us to get his deposit back. They also don't letlyou pay by card unless it's 10 pounds or more. It all felt all felt like a big cash grab and none of us have left with a good feeling. It's a shame because their drinks and food were wonderful and the waitress was great, but I am livid and will be telling everyone else not to come here either.
Great selection of beers and decent food. I'm sure we have just scratched the surface with our first successful visit (always seems/is busy). I expect when put properly to the test that 5 stars is quite likely. I did find a beer under 5% amongst the long list but be prepared to take taxi!
It's a nice place to go, but it's also trendy so often busy and difficult to find places to sit. Fairly pricey too, but understandable given the setting and upkeep of the building. Worth a visit, especially off season
