So the airport itself is ok, it's good that you can get in to the car park to drop off people. The stupid charge of 10 for "airport improvement" is a bit of a joke. The state of the airport was discusting in terms of stained carpets and roof tiles and ancient chairs and tables that you can't actually get your feet uunder. Literally to charge for this is just an idea for the airport to make more money not actually spend it on improvement.Also I keep trying to post the photos of the stained carpets and floor tiles but I suspect whoever can see this review at Norwich airport keeps getting them taken down because they're discusting and make their airport look bad, so my advice airport manager; use the money you literally take off of people and get the rank tiles replaced and the carpet redone - DO IT!!
Costa was hopeless. The lady serving was stood in front of the menu with a huge photo of the various flavoured lattes but pulled a face when asked for Chai Latte as if she'd never heard of it! We had to have regular lattes. When you pay a 4.80 to park for one hour, you expect to be able to have a coffee off the menu.
I agree with others there seems to be no wifi signal and yes there's not much to do whilst waiting but I can't praise the staff enough for help with disabled passengers. The security checks are high for a reason, our safety! We are so lucky to have an airport serving the Norfolk area for some locations. So easy to be dropped off and picked up. I am sure the 10 fee goes towards whatever the airport deems to be necessary.
A lovely local airport, very quick to get in and out of but facilities are a bit lacking and the development fee charged at departure (10.00) is a bit off, having been introduced over 10 years ago. Cannot see any real changes as a result of this charge and I have used this airport since the 1980's
What on earth happened to the ceiling? A good chunk of it is missing! Where is the free WiFi? Please start making use of the development fee. The cafe really can do with an improvement in quality considering the price charged: breakfast was cold and cutlery reminds me of a school canteen. Only the shopping area looks nice and shiny.
